How to charge a Proximity Alert
The Proximity Alert has a rechargeable battery of 2000mA. The battery lasts up to one week (depending on use) and is charged with the supplied USB cable. Charging takes about 3 to 4 hours and stops automatically when the dongle is fully charged. During charging, audible and vibration alerts are temporarily disabled, so no unnecessary warnings are given if multiple dongles are charging at the same time in each other's vicinity. After charging alerts will activate again once distance is increased over 20cm.
As you cycle through the modes, the device will indicate its battery level: 1 beep = low battery / 2 beeps = medium battery / 3 beeps = full battery.
Plugs for a normal socket are not included. The easiest solution for charging multiple Proximity Alerts at the same time is via a Multi USB charger. This can be purchased at most online shops.
