GDPR

In accordance with Article 12 of our terms and conditions, ProDongle is fully GDPR compliant.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) deals with the management and security of personal data of European citizens. An organisation must be able to demonstrate what personal data it collects, how this data is used and how it is secured.

For the application of the GDPR legislation a distinction must be made between

  1. The data controller: responsible for the purpose and means of the data processing. It makes no difference whether this party processes the data itself or outsources it to a third party. This is our client.
  2. The processor: the third party to whom the processing is outsourced that has no impact on the purpose of the processing. This is DongleApps.

Data will not be passed on to external parties.

Data can be removed at the customer's request within the limitations allowed by law. For example, accounting data such as payments, invoices, credit notes... must be legally maintained by DongleApps NV even after termination of the contract.
