Who can see the Trip details (Privacy Protection)

The trip details of trips that have privacy protection can only be seen by the driver. Also, any email alerts that provide information about the trip are not sent out to the administrator for trips with privacy protection.

A person who can see the trip detail can check what privacy protection the trip has

• Find the specific trip and go to the Trip Detail screen
• Next to the visibility icon (eye with a dash through it), see whether the trip is Visible or Not Visible
• Click on the three dots next to the current visibility
• On the Trip Privacy screen you will see
  • Privacy Setting: which privacy setting the dongle that recorded the trip had when the trip was started
  • Trip Type: how the current Trip Type was determined for this trip
  • Visibility: who by applying the Privacy Setting and the Trip Type is allowed to see the trip

A person who cannot see the trip details can check why the trip has privacy protection

• Look up the trip in the monthly overview
• A trip with privacy protection is shown in the overview with a crossed-out eye
• Move the mouse over the icon without clicking on it
  • The small pop-up shows the privacy setting as it was at the time of the trip
  • If the privacy setting is lower than "Never show trips", the type of trip and how it was determined will also be shown in brackets
